Major Cities of the World

The City Series workbook is a wonderful resource to teach kids about the major cities of the world. When the task is done, they would not only have an overview of the major city but they would also have practiced creative writing to an imaginary pen pal.

There are two task sheets that encourage reading, research, and writing.

• Two cards are designed as postcards.
• This part would encourage creative writing and communication skills.
• The third card is filled with prompts that guide research.

The teacher/librarian could help them fill in the major points by facilitating the research.
